Проведён анализ мировых статистических данных о пожарах на контейнеровозах. Основное внимание авторы уделяют проблемам возникновения пожаров и их ликвидации. Результаты анализа свидетельствуют о низкой эффективности судовых систем пожаротушения на контейнеровозах. Пожары, как правило, происходят в закрытых контейнерах, и сочетание длительного развития возгорания с низкой эффективностью использования первичных средств пожаротушения зачастую приводит к разрушению судна и гибели людей. Авторы акцентируют внимание на необходимости совершенствования систем обнаружения и тушения пожаров на контейнеровозах, а также продолжения исследований в этой области.

The article analyzes the world statistical data on container ship fires. The authors pay special attention to the problems of the occurrence of fires and their elimination. The results of the analysis indicate the low efficiency of marine fire extinguishing systems on container ships. Fires, as a rule, occur in closed containers, and the combination of prolonged development of ignition with low efficiency of using primary fire extinguishing means often leads to the destruction of the vessel and the death of people. The authors emphasize the need to improve fire detection and extinguishing systems on container ships, as well as to continue research in this area.
