The article discusses the main activities of the medical and sanitary service of the Leningrad local air defense during the blockade of the city in 1941-1944. Attention is focused on such areas of work of the medical and sanitary companies of the local air defense as providing first aid to victims in lesions and evacuating the seriously injured to medical institutions. The conclusion is made about the high degree of efficiency of the work of the medical and sanitary service of the Local air defense. In order to substantiate the heroism and professionalism of the fighters of the medical and sanitary service of the Leningrad local air defense, the memoirs of the blockaders of their archive of the Fire-technical exhibition named after B.I. Konchaev are given.
