INTERPRETATION OF THE RESULTS OF A STUDY OF THE THERMOPHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF LOCAL BUILDING MATERIALS BASED ON INFERTILE SOILS
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
It is shown that the subject of the study is infertile soils, the properties of which should be precisely known before any use in construction. It is noted that in order to determine the thermophysical characteristics of infertile soil, it is necessary to conduct laboratory studies and field tests to substantiate recommendations for the use of such soil. It is noted that the effect of humidity on the heat-conducting properties of "clean" infertile soils, as well as soils containing organic residues, has been studied. It is stated that the thermal conductivity coefficient of the material is related to the propagation velocity of the heat wave in the body of the heated structure. It has been established that the heat-conducting ability of local materials made on the basis of infertile soils increases with increasing moisture content, including in the presence of organic residues in them.
