Abstract (English):
The article gives a philosophical analysis of the problems of reconstructive operations in gerontology. Considered a short essay on the history of gerontology, as well as its modern trends. The author points out that the currently available theoretical and factual material allows an optimistic look at the prospects of increasing lifespan.
