The article deals with the problem of formation of new professional competencies among the staff of the State fire control in the course of their additional training. Formulated and substantiates the effective organization of such a process, as well as levels of information competence investigators of State fire control. The results of the pedagogical experiment on the application, student-centered approach to the organization of additional training of FPG in Saint-Petersburg university of State fire service of EMERCOM of Russia.
