The article describes the main provisions of the draft Methodical recommendations for operational units for the conduct of action fighting fires and conducting rescue operations in zoological parks. They reflect the main issues of firefighting, the issues of ensuring safety of visitors and residents of the nearby areas, and providing support services for fire extinguishing. This project presents recommendations to officials and the administration of zoos. It also describes the features of the evacuation of different types of animals.
