Тhe specifics of the park of polar search and rescue vehicles due to the peculiarities of the ecosystem and climate of the Arctic tundra are considered. The types of modern land and air transport with the prospect of their use for search and rescue operations in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation are given. The urgency of development of interaction of rescue services of all departments with large companies on extraction of hydrocarbons in terms of the use of transport equipment is discussed.
