The results of research employees’ the Federal border guards service of EMERCOM of Russia psychological and somatic effects of participation in fighting increased complexity fires are presented in comparison with control group. Traumatic situations of the professional activity, changes in the personality and emotional state, vegetative and post-stress reactions, morbidity are analyzed.
