The positive and negative motivation to extreme activity conditions of the 83 employees the federal fire-fighting service of EMERCOM of Russia were analyzed. The results of the researchers of psychological consequences at fire guards, depending on the motives choice of profession of the rescue and fire fighting profile were considered. There were identified that persons with individual-based motivation have more negative consequences, than employees’ with socially-oriented motivation to extreme activity.
