Presents the results of an empirical study coping behavior of emergency workers and students of the Academy of EMERCOM of Russia. Methods: copying test of Lazarus, the test of overcoming difficult life situations Erdmann-Jahnke (adaptation of N.E. Vodopyanova), the method of E. Hama (adaptation of L.I. Wasserman). Determined prevailing in the sample strategy: planning, problem solving, search, social support, accepting responsibility, distancing. The cadets strategy of self-control, suppression of emotions and passive cooperation.
