Abstract (English):
This article analyzes the system of training for the Soviet of fire protection on the example of the Sverdlovsk fire-technical school in a difficult historical period - the 1960 s years. The article paid great attention to the problems of improving the academic performance of students of the Sverdlovsk fire-technical school of the organization political and educational work, training command and staff College, increase of efficiency of methodical work on a subject-methodical cycles. The authors note that the potential for further modernization of the Soviet of fire protection was largely blocked due to the fact that the specialists firefighters were forced to shift to the solution of economic problems, in line with the General trend of development of the whole Soviet system on the background of unsuccessful attempts to overcome the economic crisis by the end of the 1960s years. According to the authors, considerable damage was also caused by the wrong decision on the demilitarization of the Soviet of fire protection.
