In work, the proposed method of experimental evaluation of thermodynamic characteristics of smoldering combustion under external thermal stimulation, as well as experimental studies of the dynamics of the temperature increase in different porous systems. Considered temperature characteristics of the combustion of wood bulk materials. Also studied the growth temperature in the bulk material at various levels. On the surface of all the studied samples, the growth temperature is an exponent. The depth of the studied samples the dependence of the growth temperature on time is a sigmoidal Boltzmann function. The proposed method can be used to assess the fire properties of porous materials.
