This work describes the results obtained during the study of the susceptibility to non-verbal expression in communication process of the undergraduates of the University of EMERCOM of Russia, who have an officer rank, in comparison with the freshmen. It has been discovered that the level of non-verbal perception of the undergraduates is within the average limits, but it is significantly higher than that of the freshmen. There is a direct relationship between non-verbal perception and the level of non-verbal intelligence. There is also an inverse relationship between non-verbal perception and masculinity, i.e. cadets with feminine traits are more susceptible to non-verbal expression.
