The article deals with the problem of poor quality of software interfaces of digital products, for which the author proposed to develop a model for describing users to the target audience. The model includes three interconnected human mental systems: a complex of sensory systems, perceptual and cognitive systems. Since the complex of sensor systems is the first stage of receiving and processing signals from interfaces, this component is considered in detail in the article, namely: how the signal is received and processed; physiological limitations; periods when distortion of the signals occurs. The article also systematizes the parameters and properties of sensor signals, the ranges within which sensor signals are received, and provides the author's list of recommendations for interface design. The importance of the topic under consideration for EMERCOM of Russia was noted when it comes to making decisions on which people's lives and health depend.
