It is noted that new approaches and alternative methods are being applied to objects of protection by the federal state fire supervision authorities, which take into account the specifics of functioning in modern conditions. It is stated that the neglect of standards in the field of fire safety on the part of the owners of facilities is an urgent problem today, that such behavior is directly related to difficulties in the field of regulatory regulation. It is shown that the number of rules for the preparation of buildings and premises and the organization of work inside there are enough of them that simultaneous compliance with all requirements becomes almost impossible in some situations. It is concluded that the forms and methods of fire supervision should be simple and reasonable so that there is no conflict of interests between the controlled owner of the object of protection and the supervisory authority.
