In modern conditions of the active introduction of various advanced digital technologies into the information computer environment, the global virtual space provides extremist organizations and terrorist communities with opportunities to use multimedia resources through the massive use of social networks, electronic mail, websites with negative video materials, notes and photographic images of prohibited content for criminal purposes through anonymous and contactless use of cybernetic means. This makes it difficult to identify the distributor of extremist /or terrorist materials in order to bring them to justice in accordance with the current criminal legislation. Such criminal acts committed by extremists, acting anonymously and distributing prohibited information to an unlimited number of people through information resources, destabilize the actual situation in Russia and the established international relations.
