Abstract (English):
The article is aimed at determining the notion of «interactive technology». The importance of interactive technologies for the process of teaching English to the cadets of EMERCOM of Russia is stressed in the article. The author examines the principles and the main characteristics of interaction-based teaching process. Different types of interactive technologies are classified according to the specific stage of language teaching process. The author stresses the idea that interactive technologies can be used to evaluate intercultural communication competence.
