Abstract (English):
The article is devoted to the description of the development of the competence of cadets, trainees studying in the specialty the discipline of fire safety «Of technological processes» Saint-Petersburg university of State fire service of EMERCOM of Russia. The main criteria of professional and general cultural competencies are proposed and described. The main activities and directions of work of the department on forming the competencies of studentsand cadets are presented.
