The article presents a comparative analysis of the concept of «quality of education». Disclosed to the integrity of the understanding of this concept, its essential properties. The essence of the notion pedagogical diagnostics and defined the role of the pedagogical diagnostics in ensuring the quality of education. Proposed a comprehensive way of tracking the usage of the factors influencing the quality of education.
