Discussed the features of risk assessment at failures (destructions) of tanks with the emergency chemically hazardous substances transported by the railway transport. Risks must be taken into account not only in the areas of emergency stop, but also on the sites of deceleration of the train at their passing through the villages, the comparative assessment of the risks as when passing through villages, and in the areas of maneuvering.
