Abstract (English):
The results of computational investigations of air pollution by exhaust emissions from water transport in the waters of Saint-Petersburg are analyzed. The work was carried out on the Government Orders in 1980-1996. Eleven ships at anchor and all the fairways through which ships pass through the waters of Saint-Petersburg were considered. The study has shown that under hazardous weather conditions, the concentration of nitrogen oxides in the air can be 6 times as high than the standard limit value; soot PM - up to 1,5 times as high.
