Dedicated to questions of contemporary condition of law consciousness as the main and determining element of legal culture and the necessary component of stable development of the Russian state and its influence on legal positions of subjects of legal relationships. The attention is drawn to the fact that if the level of law consciousness of the country population is not high then the level of law consciousness of subjects of law-making in the country can’t be on the due level. The questions of the necessity of carrying out scale federal transformations directed on increase of law consciousness level of subjects of legal relationships are considered. Some offers concerning the improvement of the efficiency of law-making process in contemporary Russia are made.
