Abstract (English):
Saint-Petersburg university of State fire service of EMERCOM of Russia was a co-executor of the research work «Scientific and Methodological Support for Assessing the Implementation of the Decrees of the President of the Russian Federation from 2012 to 2018 (Decrees of the President of the Russian Federation dated 05/07/2012 № 596-606)». As part of this research, an analysis of statistical data on the number of incidents and deaths in the water and the selection of ten constituent entities of the Russian Federation, which have the best performance in the dynamics of a significant reduction in the incidence and loss of life during accidents on water bodies. The basis of the research is the reporting documents of departments, territorial bodies and organizations of the EMERCOM of Russia on work to improve the safety of life of the population, the sustainability of economic facilities in emergency situations, ensure the safety of people on water bodies as part of the implementation of the May decrees for the period 2012-2018.
