The quantitative evaluation criteria of the degree of thermal effects on the steel parts of the car body, based on the results obtained through a complex of field research methods such as the study of the magnetic characteristics, eddy current analysis and X-ray fluorescence analysis using a portable spectrometer are offered in this article. The scheme of application of selected quantitative evaluation criteria of the degree of thermal effects on the painted steel parts of the car body to determine fireplace attributes is offered in the article.
