Abstract (English):
The article deals with fire safety of the Russian Federation as an important factor for sustainable socio-economic development of the state. We investigate the relevance of criminological and criminal-legal research in this field as a basis for the founding document of strategic planning, defining public policy in the field of fire safety. A brief analysis of the existing criminal legislation in this area indicates a lack of unity and the relationship of criminal law, protecting human security and the need to improve it.
