The results of a pilot study assessing the quality and the standard of living of the trainees of St. Petersburg University of State Fire Service of EMERCOM of Russia are presented. Analysis of the research results of the quality assessment and the standard of living of students, regardless of their social, cultural, demographic and political context was conducted using questionnaires quality of life «WHOQOL-100» developed by the World Health Organization (kernel module).
