Describes the results of the research process and the gaseous products of thermo-oxidative degradation of electric cables KRNG, KNR and KYPEV-P. Reserches were conducted on the installation of synchronous thermal analysis (TG/DSC) combined with IK-Fyrie spectrometer. The gaseous products of thermo-oxidative degradation were analyzed by methods of infrared spectroscopy and gas chromatography. Adducted thermo-analytical curves of the investigated objects and the composition of gases generated at the initial stage of the process.
