The article presents the results of an empirical study of personality factors employees of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia activities in the Arctic region (on the example of the Kola Polar region). On the basis of qualitative and quantitative analysis revealed a statistically significant difference, and the influence of personal factors on the professional longevity of employees, taking into account the length of time of professional work in the conditions of the Arctic region.
