Abstract (English):
The article is focused on the specific characteristics of the educational process in a class of sports and defense orientation. The author examines the main guidelines of teaching English as a foreign language in the framework of the Federal State standard of secondary education. The structure of the communication competency is analyzed along with the methods of improving it for high school students.
