The article analyzes new approaches to the definition of «intangible benefits», «moral rights». The authors suggest the analysis to use an additional approach to understanding non-material assets and to the definition of intangible benefits through the structurally narrower category inherent in the individual through the definition of intangible personal benefits. Examines the problem of transforming the terminology related to the definition of «intangible benefits» and «moral rights» in connection with changes to existing legislation. Examines ways of defining these concepts. The article also provides the definition of «personal non-property benefit». The introduction of the concept of personal intangible benefits allows you to remove the uncertainty about a critical attitude to the «immateriality» of some intangible benefits and more correct approach to the issue of determining the amount of compensation for moral damages in violation of intangible goods and for violation of moral rights.
