The article reveals the basic theoretical principles of military discipline, law and order in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the methodological aspect. The scientific approach to their understanding allows students to be guided and correctly apply in military practice legislative acts, orders of the Minister of defense of the Russian Federation on ensuring legality and a law and order in parts and divisions of troops of communication
