Abstract (English):
In this paper, the analysis of the content of the educational literature on the disciplines «Theory of combustion and explosion» and «Theoretical foundations of the processes of combustion and extinguishing» is carried out. The necessity of studying these disciplines in an organic combination with related disciplines and, as a consequence, the need to supplement the content of the relevant discipline is revealed. The necessity of using relevant educational literature as recommended is noted. The implementation of the recommendations makes it possible in the future to improve the quality of teaching such disciplines in fire-technical and technical universities, initiates a much larger format of research work.
