This publication provides a detailed analysis of the international legal regulation of rescue activities at sea. International legal norms and agreements regulating the above activities have been researched. These norms and documents indicate the readiness of most states of the modern world, parties to relevant international treaties, to jointly confront emergency situations at sea, eliminate their consequences and jointly carry out rescue activities, regardless of geopolitical and other interests. The legal relations that develop in the process of implementation and compliance with international legal norms and agreements in the framework of rescue activities, which is a dynamic and multifaceted area that requires constant adaptation and development in accordance with changing conditions and challenges, are considered.
