The article reveals the features of conducting binary laboratory researches within the framework of mastering some fire-technical disciplines, reveals a number of positive and negative qualities of researches in this format. The study offers relevant recommendations aimed at minimizing the negative aspects of conducting binary laboratory researches and achieving, in turn, positive ones. Special attention is paid in the article to the personal qualities of lecturers involved in the organization and conduct of such researches.
