The methodology of preparing an independent lesson under the guidance of a teacher is considered. The main purpose of independent studies and the main recommendations on the methodology of their preparation at the university are shown, as well as the main interrelated stages of their implementation are identified. Methodological and practical recommendations are offered to teachers when conducting this type of classes.
