Abstract (English):
The results of a study of the role of thematic role-playing toys in the development of preschool children, in particular, their training in the basics of fire safety, are presented. It is argued that the gameplay is the basis for the formation of children's basic social and communication skills, as well as moral and emotional qualities. Special attention is paid to various types of role sets and their contribution to the intellectual, moral and physical activity of the child. The importance of adult participation in the game process is substantiated in order to achieve maximum effect in teaching children the basics of fire safety. The authors of the presented material focus primarily on the conscious choice of toys, given that properly selected role sets stimulate children's cognitive activity, help the child to master professions and prepare for interaction with society, forming confidence and a positive perception of the world.
